下面是實務上「真正安全」的寫法。
一定要寫清楚付款時間（不要只寫 付款期限 30 天）
不安全寫法：
Payment due within 30 days.
30 天從哪天算？
安全寫法：
Payment is due within 30 calendar days from the date of 發票.
或更清楚：
Payment is due within 15 calendar days from receipt of 發票.
避免模糊空間。
一定要寫付款方式
避免日後拖延理由。
建議寫：
Payment shall be made via ACH transfer, wire transfer, or 公司 check.
如果你只接受某方式，也要寫清楚。
一定要寫逾期利息條款（非常關鍵）
沒有這條，對方拖你成本幾乎為零。
建議寫法：
Any payment not received by the due date shall accrue interest at the 報價 of 1.5% per month (or the maximum 報價 permitted by law), until paid in full.
這會產生壓力。
一定要寫暫停工作權（Stop Work Clause）
這是 1099 承包人最重要的保護之一。
寫法：
Contractor reserves the right to suspend services if payment is not received within 7 days after 書面通知 of late payment.
否則你會邊被拖款邊繼續工作。
分期付款一定要寫違約加速條款（Acceleration Clause）
如果分期，必須寫：
If 客戶 fails to make any installment payment, the remaining balance shall become immediately due and payable.
沒有這條，對方可以拖每一期。
IP 保護條款（創作類必備）
如果你做影視／設計／創作：
一定要寫：
Ownership of work product shall transfer only upon full payment.
未付清，不轉權。
律師費條款（追討必備）
In the event of collection or legal action, 客戶 agrees to pay reasonable attorney’s fees and collection costs.
沒有這條，你追款成本全自負。
定金條款（降低風險）
高風險客戶建議：
50% deposit required before work begins.
或：
No work shall commence until deposit is received.
不要「信任式開工」。
里程碑付款（大型專案）
大型項目建議：
- 30% 預付款
- 40% mid-project
- 30% before delivery
不要 100% 完成後才收款。

Payment Terms:
客戶 agrees to pay Contractor a total fee of $_.
50% deposit is due prior to commencement of services.
The remaining balance is due within 15 calendar days of 發票 date.

在加州：
- 逾期利率不可超過法定上限
- 若未寫利率，可能只能主張法定利率
- 書面條款比口頭約定強
